Welcome to Pug Rescue of Pennsylvania Inc.
"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated."  -Mahatma Gandhi
OUR MISSION:
- To improve the lives of surrendered, sick, abandoned, neglected, injured, or abused pug dogs by obtaining necessary medical treatment for them, assisting in their rescue and placement in permanent, loving homes.
- To raise awareness of the plight of pugs used solely for breeding stock without concern for their welfare and assist in efforts furthering the prevention of cruelty to animals by initiating and supporting legislation to put “puppy mills” out of business.
- To protect and advance the interest in pug dogs by encouraging responsible ownership.
ABOUT US:
Pug Rescue of Pennsylvania Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to serving the needs of pugs and their owners in eastern and central Pennsylvania. Many of us are pug owners, all are pug lovers.
We strive to insure the health, safety and welfare of all dogs in our care and educate the public about the pug breed. In addition, we endeavor to inform everyone, dog owners or not, about the cruelty and abuse of dogs by Pennsylvania puppy mills and what we can do to help end that abuse.
Pug Rescue of Pennsylvania is a 501(c ) 3 charity.
